I have so much on the go right now it's almost funny. Luckily business is slowing down and I'm not currently in school so I have plenty of time. I only wish I had a photographer with more time on their hands.

Okay, first of all an update on old projects. I'm rewriting my vampire novel and I'm about 1/4 of the way done that. It's going really well.

My Zoedavian novels are still in the works and going along smoothly but slowly.

My poetry collection is complete except for the artwork and the cover. I'm waiting on cover designs from several artists and the deadline for that (for ANYONE who is interested) is the end of September.

My fiction collection is nearly complete. I'm still working on the artwork and I'm waiting on several over designs - the deadline is same as above.

And now, on to new projects.

I'm starting on a new world, I'm currently working on organizing religious and social structures. I have the map of the world sketched out ... I just need to ink in the details (cities, countries, sea ports etc.) The world contains 6 races and I plan to do a series of novels or stories on each race.

My long poem "This is Me Pouring Out My Heart" (under the title "Title too long" here on DA) is my latest project and I am very excited about it. I'm making it into its own book. Each verse will be on its own page with a facing illustration. I'm doing all the illustrations myself; I'm taking the photos, either on my own or with the help of my sister or my fiance, then turning them into line drawings digitally, printing them out, and using the digital line drawings to create a properly shaded pencil drawing. These drawings will then be scanned in and sized as the final illustrations. Currently the project is 21 pages long (that's 2 pages per existing verse with the exception of verse 2 which takes up four pages, ana introduction, dedication, interior title page, and copyright info.) I have at least one more, probably two or three more, verses to write plus the epilogue and the about the author so the book will still be relatively small at 28-38 pages. It will be available in PDF download and in paperback.

I think that's everything at the moment, project wise. I will say thank-you to everyone here on DA who has been commenting, both on my work and my journals. I've been getting all my support here recently and it's comforting.

Hopefully things shape up at my writing forum soon. If not, stay tuned for info regarding a new forum which I will be opening with a friend.

On a personal note: I'm going to my fiance's cousin's wedding on Friday and I'm very excited. I love weddings.

Wow! You are working on a lot of things. Here I am thinking I'm doing a lot while slowly writing a graphic novel, and you have like 50 projects.

Glad you're excited for the weddings...they are boring to me.

It's the seeing family that excites me.

Yeah, I am super busy but I'm happy to report that I completed the band logo I was designing (sad that my art projects weren't included in that update).

Which novel, was it, that needed the drawings, based on that graphic novel you told me about? (And also... what was that graphic novel again? The paper went through the wash and quite mercilessly destroyed the paper to lint. :()
:iconmeryum:
kay, on DA it's posted as Untitled Graphic Novel or something like that. I'm just looking for concept art or "fan" art.

I'm planning on doing it like Neil Gaiman's Stardust as opposed to Miller's Sin City.

Also, looking for cover art for three projects.

Alright! (That was a fast reply, you must be on. :P) Not sure if I'll be able to get art done *doesn't have Photoshop on this computer* and I don't have a scanner to scan the traditional art.

Poo.
:iconmeryum:
Bring your traditional art here and we can scan it and email it back to you.
